ONLINE SUNDAY SERVICE MODERATOR
We’ll provide the script, you provide the charm. Interact in the online chat with Sunday worship participants.
Requirements: Willingness to chat online with worship participants.
Time Commitment: 60-75 minutes, 1-4 times per month

ASSISTANT VIDEOGRAPHER
Push buttons and point a camera when we tape services (currently Tues. 1pm-4pm) and on Sundays once we return to in-person worship.
Requirements: No experience necessary but being fully vaccinated is currently a requirement until we develop protocols for returning to church
Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week, 1-4 times per month

SUNDAY SERVICE AUDIO-ONLY PROJECT
We’d love your help to create an audio bridge for members without a computer/smartphone or internet to have live access to our Sunday Service via audio. No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
Requirements: A computer and internet, and your attendance at church (online now and in-person when we return to the sanctuary).
Time commitment: 2 hours, 1-4 times per month on Sundays

OUTREACH COMMITTEE MEMBER
Develop ideas and meet with the committee every three months or as needed to reach Downs Members, the Downs Community, and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
Willing to meet with a community group yearly
Be open to new ideas for reaching Community
Willing to meet at least every 3-4 months for 1 hour, for one year
Time Commitment: 1 hour every 3-4 months, for one year

FISHES AND LOAVES SHOPPER
Shop for the Fishes & Loaves Program at the Alameda County Community Bank on Mondays.
Requirements:
Must be willing to drive your personal car to the Food Bank each Monday at 7:30 to meet with staff. Purchase, pack items and transport items back to Downs Memorial United Church and put items in the freezer, refrigerator or garage.
Licensed Car or Van
Able to lift at least 25 pounds, good physical health
Time commitment: 2 1/2 hours each Monday You determine the frequency
